Chrome Electroplating

Chrome Electroplating is a finishing treatment utilising electrolytic deposition of Chromium – commonly called Chrome or Bright Chrome, this finish is used widely throughout the world. Chrome Electroplating is a thin decorative layer over a base substrate of Copper and Nickel (also referred commercially in the USA as Triple Chrome).

Polishing is a key component to get the best finish, particularly in the Chrome Electroplating process. The best finish can be achieved by preparing items well – polishing your items before Chrome Electroplating can remove imperfections and achieve a higher quality of finish. While we have our own industrial polishing machines and can polish the work for you. We outsource the bulk of this work to “Escort Metal Polishers” who we work closely with on a daily basis.
